Sheila Hanlon Ravindran is a passionate and strategic business leader with over 25 years experience in technology. She is a strategic thought leader and trusted advisor who is extremely business-results focused.

Sheila is the Senior Director, IT Strategy and Planning for Ultimate Software.  Prior to that she was the former Vice President IT, Project Management Office and Governance at Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, the nation’s largest wine and spirits distributor.

She has previously served for 5 years as a Director in the Project Management Office at JM Family Enterprises, a $14.5 billion diversified automotive corporation where she supported the World Omni Financial division.

At JM Family, she also worked in the business for 3 years at Southeast Toyota, managing Process Improvement, Portal Development, BI/Data Warehouse, and serving as the sponsor on various IT initiatives.

In addition to her experience with JM Family, Ms. Ravindran was a Director of Information Technology at AutoNation, where she worked for 10 years. AutoNation is America’s largest automotive retailer and a Fortune 100 company, employing 31,000 people. At AutoNation she led a department of business analysts, developers, and quality assurance analysts.

Sheila has served as a Adjunct Professor teaching undergraduate classes at the University of Phoenix on Project Management and Business Systems.
Prior to AutoNation Sheila worked as a Senior Business Consultant for Arthur Andersen LLP. At Andersen, she provided management consulting, strategy formulation and implementation, business systems implementation, and business processes.

Before joining Arthur Andersen, she worked as a consultant for 5 years for Financial Data Planning (FDP) doing system implementations, training, programming, and support.

Sheila holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and English from the University of Miami and has her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida International University. She has also has her Six Sigma Green Belt from Florida Atlantic University.

Sheila was a Board Member for the Girl Scouts of Broward County from 2001-2008, serving as First Vice President for 2 years. She led fundraising efforts by serving on the Golf committee for many years. She is also a member of Leadership Broward Graduating Class of XXI. Sheila was on the Advisory Board of WITI for many years and has recently joined ITWomen as an advisor.
She has also done charity fundraising work for Team in Training and Parkinson’s by participating in marathon races.

Sheila lives in Delray Beach with her husband and three daughters.
