Sharon Moura serves as VP Commercial Enablement, Johnson Controls and also serves on the advisory board of ITWomen. Sharon has over 20 years of progressive experience in Information Technology at leading organizations. Her industry experience includes financial, automotive, mining & metals, install & service and manufacturing. Areas of particular expertise and interest include Strategy, Enterprise Change, Organizational Transformation, Strategic Program Management and Application Strategy and Rationalization.
Sharon has also served as the Vice President, VP IT Strategy & Transformation and Commercial Excellence, at Tyco, the global leader in fire and security solutions. She was responsible for leading the transformation of global IT from disparate teams, technologies and capabilities to a One Tyco model enabling the organization’s growth and efficiency objectives. In addition, Sharon served as the IT lead for all Commercial Excellence programs driving growth and a customer centric culture. Prior to this role Sharon has held a number of Divisional CIO responsibilities at Tyco. She has also led Information Technology at organizations such as GE Capital, Hyundai Automotive, and General Motors.
She earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario Canada and completed executive programs at Harvard University, MIT and Wharton School of Business. Sharon regularly speaks on the topics of Change Leadership and Transformation at industry forums.
